Autobarn Wax On Show Off winner announced
Autobarn’s Wax On Show Off competition attracted more than 1,200 entries, with the majority of vehicles being of outstanding quality.
According to Simon Davenport, Bapcor Retail General Manager – Marketing, the competition brought vehicles of all types to stores nationwide.
“Autobarn team members have seen everything from trucks, a DeLorean, everyday drives, bikes and absolutely everything in between. The passion that Australians have for their vehicles is incredible. At Autobarn, we’re always here to help people build and maintain their pride and joy,” he said.
Selected at random, the grand prize winner scored $5,000 to spend in any Autobarn store. The winner, Brody Cameron, took his Wax On Show Off competition photo at Autobarn Burnie in Tasmania.
“Honestly, I’m a bit lost for words. I struggle to win rock-paper-scissors so when I heard that I had won the Autobarn Wax On Show Off competition grand prize of $5K to spend in store, I really didn’t know what to think,” said Cameron.
“When it comes to what I’m going to buy, I’m not 100 per cent sure [as] there is so much to pick from at Autobarn. But I would like to look into some new seats, head unit, dash cam and much more. Thank you again Autobarn,” he added.
OTHER WINNERS
Sub-category winners scored gift cards and supplier prize packs from a prize pool of more than $20,000. The sub-categories included Off Road Warrior, Most Unique, Muscle Car, Japanese Domestic (JDM), Euro, Ute, Aussie Classic, Old School Cruiser, P-Plate Pride, Bike, Stance and Wagon.
Davenport said Autobarn looks forward to making the competition bigger and better in 2023. “We thank our many enthusiastic customers for taking part,” he added. [We] welcome more to do the same and be in the running to win some great prizes next year.
