AP Eagers and Zagame Group to open new Cupra Garages

Cupra has announced the opening of two new Cupra Garages in key Australian metropolitan locations.

AP Eagers Automotive Group’s newest Cupra Garage is located on the Automall in the Indooroopilly Shopping Centre. After a period running from a temporary address, the Automall is Cupra’s permanent home in Brisbane. The group also operates Gold Coast and Perth premises.

The 220 square metre space allows for four vehicles to represent Cupra’s soon to be full range. This includes the imminent introduction of the Born BEV, in addition to Formentor crossover, Leon hatchback and Ateca SUV. The service facility is located within the shopping centre.

In Melbourne, the Zagame Group operates the Cupra Garage at 380 Swan Street, Richmond, an imposing 576 square metre, six car showroom. Servicing is conducted at nearby 577 King Street, West Melbourne.

Though trading for several months, the completed Cupra Garage will be officially opened on December 15. This will coincide with the release of the Born BEV. The new site is situated across town from Zagame’s Chadstone Cupra Garage.

“These Garages are all about modernising customer interaction, about taking Cupra to where they live,” said Cupra Australia director, Ben Wilks. “Cupra’s Indooroopilly Garage fits neatly into a hugely busy retail destination. Our Richmond Garage sits on one of Melbourne’s iconic old high streets with its array of popular shops and restaurants.

“While you can conduct your Cupra purchase online, with the surety of driveaway pricing, we want to give you the opportunity to see, touch and feel our cars in great places run by knowledgeable and friendly Cupra Masters.”

Alto Prestige (Sydney’s CBD and Artarmon), Lennock Motors (Canberra), Solitaire Automotive (Adelaide) also operate Cupra Garages.

Wilks said further Cupra Garage announcements can be expected in 2023.
