Supercheap Auto Boosts Its Trade Offering

Supercheap Auto has unveiled two new, purpose-built websites — one for Australia and one for New Zealand — designed for the automotive trade and other trade-based industries.

“The Supercheap Auto Trade websites are one of the most important initiatives that we have undertaken and the public launch is a very special moment for us,” said Supercheap Auto’s Managing Director, Benjamin Ward.

“We have spent several years researching and investing into a trade platform that represents just how serious we are about trade. For workshops and other trade businesses, we have used the very latest in technology to make buying auto products not only easy but efficient. We know our customers are extremely busy so saving them time was our biggest priority,” said Ward.

Amongst a host of new features is what the company believes is the first of its kind for the automotive industry. The Supercheap Auto Trade websites will offer a barcode scanner facility where customers can scan any product, whether in store or at their workshop, and it will provide full product information, including the tailored trade price. From there, customers can add products directly to the shopping cart and have them delivered or use the rapid 30-minute ‘click and collect now’ available at Supercheap Auto locations.

“We have also developed a full account management section that allows workshops to control their purchases and spending limits as well as view past invoices and apply for increases on 30-day credit accounts,” added Ward. “What is particularly impressive is the ability to give access to all employees and even apprentices so they can have the benefit of exclusive trade pricing whilst the account holder is in full control.

Supercheap Auto said the platform will have a dedicated area to order bulk products and a re-ordering system for items that are purchased on a regular basis. This means that customers can quickly reorder from a previous invoice or use the new quick order form that’s designed to save time when placing a large order or stocking up on common items.

“In total, trade customers will have access to over one million products online from all of the biggest brands and the Supercheap Auto Trade team have ensured that pricing is not only super competitive but is shown clearly and accurately on the new website,” said Ward.

In addition to the trade website, Supercheap Auto has built a dedicated team of trade experts who are available seven days a week.

Trade customers can take access the program by heading to trade.supercheapauto.com.au or trade.supercheapauto.co.nz and registering online.
