Queensland Improved Production racing gets the Midas touch

Australian automotive servicing, repair and tyre replacement franchise group Midas has announced a sponsorship deal with Queensland’s Improved Production motor racing series for 2021.

One of the most diverse and exciting motor racing categories, the series features production based touring cars that have been improved for motor racing purposes. The field includes Mazda RX-7s, BMWs, Toyotas, Hondas, Nissans, Commodores and Falcons.

The category regulations are concise yet allow quite a high level of vehicle modification. Improved Production racing is also relatively inexpensive for competitors and provides a foundation that allows for spectacularly close racing within a number of engine capacity classes, forming several exciting races within each race.
