Narva’s New OEM Specified Work Lamps
Narva has introduced a range of heavy-duty work lamps designed to meet the specifications of O.E.M fitted work lamps on industrial vehicles and plant equipment, including mining vehicles, dump trucks, loaders, tractors, harvesters, cranes and more.
According to Narva, the OEM Specified range complements the company’s extensive market offering with lamps that are direct replacements for those originally fitted to the vehicle, requiring no modification to the bracketry or the lamps themselves.
Narva says the lamps are built to withstand the toughest of mining environments and weather conditions which is backed by Narva’s market-leading seven-year LED warranty across the new range. All lamps are fully sealed to IP68 and IP69K, with integrated Deutsch connectors for maximum ingress protection and EMC compliance (CISPR25). There are six 9-32V multi-voltage flood beam lamps available, ranging in output from 1800 lumens up to an impressive 6000 lumens of 6000°K bright white light.
According to Nava, the toughest materials have been used in their construction, with two of the models (P/No. 72716 and 72717) featuring “virtually unbreakable” polycarbonate lenses and die-cast aluminium housings atop versatile, multi-position brackets. The remaining four lamps (P/No. 72740, 72742, 72744 and 72746) utilise advanced thermal plastics, aluminium heatsinks and toughened glass lenses, plus an Active Thermal Management System (ATMS) to keep temperatures down and ensure operational longevity.
“Of major appeal to operators is the ability to replace a broken work lamp or mount an additional light that is identical in specification to the original, factory-fitted units,” said Narva Marketing Manager Jake Smith. “Backed by a seven-year LED warranty, they ensure peace of mind in their reliability for operators, for years to come,” Smith added.
