Jase Andrews to join Chevrolet Silverado at Melbourne 4×4 Show
GM Specialty Vehicles (GMSV) and the new MY23 Chevrolet Silverado range will be on display at next weekend’s Melbourne 4X4 Show, where they will be joined by a special guest.
The full-size pickup trucks will have Jase Andrews (pictured, above) from All 4 Adventure alongside them, who will be on hand to meet show goers over the event.
“Our partnership with All 4 Adventure is an exciting new opportunity for the new Silverado to venture off the beaten track and into some rough and ready off-road experiences,” said Director of GM Specialty Vehicles Australia and New Zealand, Greg Rowe.
“The boys are going to be putting the Chevy Silverado 1500 through some of Australia’s toughest and extreme terrain, I’m sure the new ZR2 will be up for the challenge and it’s going to make for some awesome TV.”
Andrews, host of Australia’s number one four-wheel-drive and adventure show, can’t wait to get behind the wheel of the new model, saying that “The Silverado comes with an impressive pedigree and I’m sure will be the perfect companion as we go adventuring in the new series.
“I’m a huge fan of the truck, especially the redesigned interior, and am rather intrigued to find out how the off road oriented ZR2 performs out ‘the back of beyond’.
“I also can’t wait to experience the performance of the powerful 6.2-litre EcoTech3 V8 engine, it sounds like it will be an absolute beast.”
Silverado be displayed on the GMSV stand will be partnered with Titanium Caravans and Malibu boats, examples of what can be hauled by the LTZ Premium version with its 4.5-tonne tow rating.
Whilst the Melbourne 4×4 Show is taking place, the new MY24 Heavy Duty (HD) will be undergoing local certification and testing in the Northern Territory.
“The HD takes ‘Living Big’ to the next level and is the truck to have when you need to get a job done,” said Rowe.
“We’ll have more details to share about the new HD in coming months.”
