Australia’s biggest Show ‘n’ Shine event returns

Autobarn will host Australia’s biggest Show ‘n’ Shine event, the Autobarn Wax On Show Off competition, for the second time from October 15 to November 12, 2023. The popular competition saw many thousands of motorists participate nationwide last year and is set to become even bigger in 2023.

Entering is simple; any motorist can just snap an image of their car or bike at any Autobarn store, then share the image on Autobarn’s Facebook page via the Wax On Show Off post pinned to the top of the page, or upload the image to Instagram by using the hashtag #waxonshowoff during the four week competition period.

Any car or bike can be shown off in front of any of the 140 Autobarn stores located across the nation at a time that best suits entrants during the competition period.

Each image posted gains one entry for the grand prize of $5,000 to spend in any Autobarn store and automatic entry into one of the sub-categories which offer prize packs worth a minimum of $500 each. Gift Cards and special prize packs from Autobarn’s top selling product suppliers will also be given away from a product prize pool worth more than $20,000.

As was the case during last year’s highly popular inaugural Autobarn Wax on Show Off competition, entries will be judged across several automotive categories. These include Offroad Warrior, Bike, Ute, Aussie, Hot Hatch, Stance, JDM, Wagon, Most Unique, Old School/Retro, Euro, Muscle.

The competition also coincides with the Australian automotive accessories, parts and tools retailer’s national ‘Head Turning Deals’ advertising campaign.
