Another record month for RAM Trucks Australia
Demand for RAM Trucks in Australia continues, with the company’s full-size pick-up truck securing a record 766 retail units in May, bolstered by a record 919 wholesales to the dealer network.
In RAM’s specific segment (Pick-Up/CC more than $100,000), market share for the 1500 variant is 64.7 per cent, up from 62.3 per cent over the same period last year.
In the broader 4×4 pickup category, 1500 outsold Jeep Gladiator, Nissan Navara and Volkswagen Amarok during May.
“This fantastic result is testament to our dealer network and our Melbourne manufacturing facility, who have left no stone unturned in delivering customer orders,” said Jeff Barber, RAM Trucks Australia General Manager.
“With the DS runout campaign’s very competitive 3.99 per cent finance offer ending this month, coupled with the soon to end temporary full expensing tax break, we’re confident that June will see another strong result as we close out the financial year.”
In anticipation of this particularly busy time of year and continued high demand for its full-size pick-ups, RAM Trucks Australia has poured significant effort into increasing supply and reducing wait times. Most dealers are now primed with 1500 DS and DT models in stock or in transit, and the outlook for the EOFY period and the remainder of 2023 remains strong.
