JAS Oceania to launch Training Team at AAA Expo
JAS Oceania will launch its own Technical Training Team at the 2022 Australian Automotive Aftermarket Expo, to be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 7 to 9 April 2022.
The JAS Technical Training Team is headed by auto electrical parts, repair, sales and service industry veterans, Mark Bailey (below, left) and Paul Keenan (below, right), who share a collective 85 years of industry experience. Bailey and Keenan will display a number of detailed training programs on Stand N2 throughout the expo.
The program encompasses numerous short courses for staff training, including easily accessible videos on the eJAS website for common vehicle and product issues. Additionally, more than 200 technical information sheets have been created that are emailed on each Tech Tip Tuesday to their trade customers.
The team also offers a range of tailor-made short auto electrical and air conditioning system courses, delivered from their dedicated training facility or via onsite training sessions at customer business locations.
The range of courses in development include Alternator and Starter operation, Diagnostics and testing – common faults and potential cause for failure, Air conditioning diagnostics and repair, Air conditioning service and recharge, Customer Service and Sales Training, Management Development and Modern Charging Systems. Online staff technical training programs include modules covering auto electrical rotating, air conditioner, batteries, battery charging, IT, WHS and safe practices.
“We recognise that employees are an invaluable asset,” said Bailey. “Supporting them to increase their knowledge will help to grow your business. It has never been more important for auto electrical businesses to be well trained, given the emphasis on auto electrical components and technology in today’s cars.”
“The development of the JAS Technical Training Team has grown from internal development to become a unique and highly detailed service to assist our valued trade customers. We welcome our trade customers to visit us at the AAA Expo to learn more about our detailed and freely available training programs.”
This JAS Technical Training Team is there to support our trade customers to upskill their employees, expand their services and grow their businesses. This is an ongoing commitment to provide quality trade customer training across all facets of the auto electrical aftermarket.
