YHI to distribute Marshal Tyre in Australia
Kumho Tyre Australia has appointed YHI Australia as the new Australian distributor of Marshal Tyre.
Marshal Tyre is a tyre brand of Kumho Tires, producing a range of quality tyres for passenger car, SUV/off-road, people movers and vans.
The Marshal Tyre brand has been distributed by Kumho in Australia since 2014, and the appointment of YHI Australia as the new distributor will enable Kumho Tyre to concentrate on its own brand and enable the Marshal brand to grow.
YHI will expand the range and stock a wider number of sizes and variants across the Marshal passenger car, ultra-high performance, light truck and RV tyre range.
YHI Australia managing director, Tony Suhan, said the company’s appointment as the Australian distributor for Marshal Tyre is an exciting opportunity.
“Marshal is already a well-respected and known brand with a range of high-quality mid-level tyres and our aim is to further grow sales volume across all sectors,” said Suhan. “We will distribute Marshal through our network of dealers Australia wide from our six distribution warehouses across the country.”
Kumho Tyre Australia’s Director of Sales and Marketing, David Basha, said Kumho is proud to hand over stewardship of Marshal Tyres to YHI Australia.
“YHI’s sales and logistics resources will enable it to expand the Marshal range from 60 or 70 to around 200 unique part numbers, and will also enable us to expand the range and volume of Kumho tyres in our warehouses,” Basha said.
“YHI is a well-respected and resourced international company with strong roots in Australia dating back almost three decades, so we are happy that Marshal is in good hands,” he added.
