Volkswagen Amarok Aussie pricing announced
Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has Australian unveiled pricing for its new Amarok ute range.
With five model lines and a total of eight variants, the Amarok range extends from $50,990 RRP for the Core four cylinder turbo diesel with manual transmission to $79,990 for the Aventura, which comes in a choice of six cylinder turbo diesel or four cylinder turbo petrol.
“The Amarok has been designed to be visually, ergonomically and dynamically distinctive; so too is the extent of its equipment and its positioning,” said Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Director, Ryan Davies.
“We’re landing Amarok with the high-level of specification that Amarok customers absolutely demanded of us. It’s the top of the range Amaroks – Aventura, PanAmericana and Style – where demand will be by far the strongest. Apart from an enhanced upholstery option in the Style, the only extra cost for Amarok is for your choice of paint.
“These are standard Amaroks, not special or launch editions. In time, it’s likely that Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles will decide on limited editions, but we won’t need to rush one to market on the basis that the standard ute isn’t equipped to the level customers require.”
The Adventura duo and the PanAmericana version will be the first to arrive in Australia. These will be followed shortly by the Style, Life and Core versions.
