Three ‘secret’ HSVs set for auction
Three HSVs that have been hidden away since their production dates will be auctioned by Lloyds this Saturday.
A factory special built 2020 Chevrolet HSV ZL1 Camaro, 2017 Holden HSV GTSR W1 and the ‘Frankenstein’ Holden HSV Colorado V8 Sports Cat, have been previously hidden and used for testing and private use by the HSV team.
“We are honoured to be auctioning possibly some of the rarest HSVs in existence. We have had high levels of interest on all of these vehicles and are excited to see how they perform on auction day,” said Lee Hames, Chief Operating Officer for Lloyds Auctions.
According to Lloyd’s, the 2020 HSV ZL Chevrolet Camaro is build number 40 and is the only one in the world fitted with Lamborghini style scissor doors direct from the factory.
It also comes with a $60,000 1LE pack and has just over one thousand kilometres on the clock.
The 2017 HSV GTSR W1 is one of the most sophisticated and powerful vehicles that HSV produced and is build number nine. It was also the first car painted in the colour, Son of a Gun Grey.
“This vehicle is in brand new condition with only 158km on the clock, and you don’t want to miss the opportunity to get your hands on this car,” said Hames.
The final ‘hidden gem’ is the 2016 Holden HSV V8 Sports Cat, which Lloyd’s said is the last car to be plated by HSV and the last through its engineering centre. The car is finished in Panorama Silver, paying homage to the iconic VL Group A Walkinshaw Commodore.
