Seiko launches 2024 Supercars Limited Edition watch

Seiko Australia has unveiled the 2024 Supercars Limited Edition watch; SRPL01K, the latest creation to join the Seiko 5 Sports Collection. The timepiece, driven by the Calibre 4R36 watch movement, seamlessly blends a retro design with a dynamic landscape of a racetrack.

The dial is black – reminiscent of the asphalt used on race tracks while the bold chequered flag pattern signifying victory on the bezel fuses with the red hue of the inner ring, a distinctive colour associated with the Supercar series.

The second hand is solid red to help keep track of time in low light, and the slender hands and hour markers incorporate Seiko’s Lumibrite luminous paint application.

The watch is presented in a pillowed presentation box with a medallion, individually numbered as proof of authenticity. The custom box pays homage to the Supercars, with the silhouette of the steering wheel embedded on the top, with a see-through screen revealing the Supercars watch.

For added flexibility, a silicone strap is included in a customised compartment when not in use.

The exhibition case back and crown feature the iconic Supercars logo. The unique limited-edition number is also etched onto the case back to commemorate the 2024 Supercars season, matching the medallion.

The 2024 Supercars Limited Edition is available for pre-order in the company’s Sydney and Melbourne boutiques and Seiko online from today.

Sales will begin in retailers from the 1 April 2024
