SEA Electric Asia Pacific leadership team grows
SEA Electric has appointed Bill Gillespie as President – Asia Pacific.
The company said Gillespie (pictured above) brings a wealth of automotive industry experience in the passenger vehicle market with Toyota, Kia, and Nissan, and more recently, in the truck industry with Hino Australia.
“It is with great pleasure that we welcome Bill to the SEA Electric family,” said Tony Fairweather, SEA Electric’s Founder and President. “This is an exciting time for SEA Electric, especially in the Asia Pacific region, with Bill set to anchor the market development team, enabling the region to achieve its substantial growth forecast.
“Glen Walker assumes the focussed responsibilities of Vice President – Asia Pacific Operations, where he will continue his incredible work in providing a complete family of high quality, well designed, application-ready and efficiently produced electric vehicle products to the Asia Pacific region.
“I am very excited by the future possibilities for SEA Electric in combining Glen’s comprehensive international Transport Industry experience with Bill’s proven business growth accomplishments.”
SEA Electric said Gillespie joins at an exciting time for the manufacturer, which will launch its Australian produced range of 100 per cent electric-powered trucks at next week’s Brisbane Truck Show.
