Nissan appoints Oceania Managing Director
Nissan has appointed Andrew Humberstone as Managing Director of Nissan Oceania. Effective April 1, 2024, he will report to Leon Dorssers, Senior Vice President Marketing and Sales, Nissan AMIEO.
Humberstone joins Nissan’s Oceania operation having led Nissan Great Britain as Managing Director for the previous four years. During that time, he drove business transformation and growth, and championed DEI at the UK and regional level. He also oversaw a pivotal shift in network strategy, achieving significant improvements in customer service and representation in the UK.
He has more than 30 years’ experience in the automotive industry having headed Nissan’s Independent Markets in Europe after joining Nissan Europe in May 2019.
Humberstone replaces outgoing Managing Director, Adam Paterson, who will return to Nissan Americas.
“Andrew’s arrival at Nissan Oceania coincides with our plans for the brand’s continued transformation and growth in the region,” said Dorssers.
“Andrew brings to our Oceania team strong experience and knowledge as we focus on delivering a flawless customer experience. He takes the reins from Adam Paterson, who has successfully guided our Oceania operation since 2021 and built strong foundations for the years to come.”
