Audi Australia appoints new General Manager of Marketing
Nick Reid has been appointed to the role of General Manager, Marketing, at Audi Australia, where he will head the marketing communications, customer marketing, digital and product planning functions.
Reid has led the marketing and product planning functions at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles in various roles since 2013, when he joined from Kia. Previously, Reid held product planning roles at Honda and Peugeot.
During his time with Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Reid’s team delivered multiple award-winning marketing campaigns, including Walkinshaw Station (2021), Parked (2019) and Too Powerful for You (2018).
Reid led the partnership with Melbourne-based Walkinshaw Automotive to produce premium, enhanced vehicles for the Australian market, such as the Walkinshaw Automotive high-performance utility. Audi said since April 2021, more than 1000 W-Series vehicles have been delivered to Australian customers.
Reid also shaped the development of the Volkswagen California lifestyle brand, which caters for adventure seekers and lovers of the great outdoors, with a range of versatile and appealing vans.

Reid will transition to Audi in the coming weeks. Paul Sansom has been leading the marketing function since July 2021.
