ARB launches Sportlid
ARB has upgraded its hard lid offering with the ARB Sportlid. The lid allows in-tub cargo to be kept out of the elements, is lockable to keep items safe, and provides extra space to carry larger items such as bicycles, timber, or rooftop tent.
ARB says Sportlid is made from the same super-strong ABS used in its canopies, can hold up to 75kg of dynamic weight and can be opened with up to 13kg on it as standard (or up to 25kg with optional upgraded struts) .
The Sportlid has an improved handle design making it easier to use, and the dual external T-slot extrusions allow for easy installation and removal of roof bars, roof racks and other accessories.
As standard, the lid is locked via a key on the handle or you can upgrade to a premium kit and receive central locking and interior lighting.
Sportlid is initially available for current model HiLux, Ranger, Amarok, Navara and Colorado, with further model development in progress.
The ARB Sportlid starts from $2,727.
