MDC to release new offroad family caravan
MDC Camper Trailers & Offroad Caravans will launch its newest model, the XT17HRT Family, at the Let’s Go Gold Coast Caravan and Outdoor Expo tomorrow (March 10).
Extensively developed and tested, the offroad caravan features a comprehensive list of standard inclusions, such as 875W of rooftop solar, 400Ah of lithium power, a 2000W pure sine wave auto transfer inverter and full battery monitoring with a power management app.
Easily sleeping five people, the flexible internal living space design of the XT17HRT Family provides several living modes, with a king bed upfront, bunk beds that convert to day seating and a spacious café dinette converting to an additional bed. It also features a full internal kitchen at the rear and MDC’s signature external slide-out kitchen.
The caravan also comes standard with features such as air conditioning and diesel heating, television and antenna and a heavy-duty ARKXO750 jockey wheel.
In terms of safety, MDC included electronic stability control and a wireless rear view camera as standard on the XT17HRT Family.
Family owned and run, MDC has operated for more than 15 years. Throughout this time, eight showrooms were established across the country, making MDC one of Australia’s largest distributors of campers and caravans. More than 30,000 units have been sold nationwide.
MDC said it was the first offroad camper trailer and hybrid caravan importer in Australia to obtain RVMAP accreditation. Additionally, MDC is one of the few manufacturers in the industry to have become an ISO9001 quality certified business.
In 2021, MDC opened American showrooms in California, Arizona, Utah and Colorado and continues to expand in 2023.
