Renault to host R.S. track day at Albert Park

Renault Australia is offering owners of the brand’s limited edition Megane R.S. Trophy 300 the chance to drive their vehicle around the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit.

To be held the morning of Wednesday 11 March, 2020, the event will be the first dedicated track day planned by Renault Australia for Renault Sport enthusiasts.

Attendance at the Albert Park R.S. Track Day is available to any purchaser of the Megane R.S 300 Trophy between 1 December 2019 and 28 February 2020. A maximum of 15 customers will participate in the event.

Renault Australia says participants at the track day will be coached by professional instructors who will lead and accompany drivers to give them the best experience possible on the track.

Participants can also spend time with members of the Renault F1 Team and the Renault Sport GRM TCR team, with four enthusiasts getting the chance to win a hot lap around the circuit with Renault F1 Team drivers.

Owners of the Megane R.S. Trophy-R will also participate in the day, getting the opportunity to experience the highest performing production car Renault has ever released.

To be eligible to participate, customers must register online, pay a fee of $500, possess a current LS2 License and a compliant Level A Standard 1698 Helmet. All vehicles need to pass a safety check by Motorsport Australia prior to commencing on track activity.
