AGP to release new grandstand seats

The final release of grandstand tickets for the Formula 1 Heineken Australian Grand Prix will go on sale from 10:00am (AEDT), Tuesday February 8, 2022.

Five brand-new grandstands have facilitated the tickets, following surging demand for the 2022 race. This will give fans more seating options than any other race in the event’s 25-year history.

The Australian Grand Prix Corporation (AGPC) said the stands will not impede existing viewing mounds accessible on a Park Pass, and will be located at Turn 5, Turn 8, Turn 8.5, Turn 11 and Turn 12. More information including pricing and ticketing links will be shared prior to the February 8 release.

In addition to the new grandstands, a selection of additional tickets in existing grandstands are also being re-released to the public.

While this will be the AGPC’s final release of grandstand seating, the corporation is working on alternative ticketing options for anyone who may miss out.

‘Re-imagined’ hospitality experiences will also be released on February 8, allowing pass-holders to be among the first to see the new Albert Park Circuit in action, with trackside views from inside catered hospitality facilities.

Pre-sale codes will not be required to purchase tickets on February 8.
